Hello. I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. This past week has been quite relaxing, though the peacefulness has been slightly less enjoyable due to the extremely cold weather. As a born and raised Hawaii girl, I’ve been freezing my fingers and toes off in with the temperature dropping as low as 54 degrees. I’m used to being in socks and a sweater in the mid-70s. 60s to 50s is just insanely cold!
When I wasn’t shivering under a plethora of blankets, I’ve been continuing to apply for jobs and increase my knowledge and skillset. I’ve also joined Clubhouse. I only just joined so I haven’t used it much yet, but I’m already looking forward to connecting with fellow Full Sail alumni on Tuesday and practicing my basic understanding of French on Thursday.
Some of my highlights of the past week are:
- Playing Wizard101 with my sister
- Watching Barney (the best character in How I Met Your Mother) with my mom and sister
- Running with my mom and sister on Friday morning (it was wonderful and horrible all at once)
- Eating amazingly delicious Miso Ramen made by my dad with the whole family
