Hello. I hope you’ve had a wonderful week, a very happy Valentine’s Day, and an amazing Chinese New Year! In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, what’s your love language? Vanessa Van Edwards has a great article on the different love languages and a quiz you can take to find yours here. It’s fascinating how different people show their love for one other in different ways. My love languages are physical touch and quality time. As a result, spending Valentine’s Day with my family watching NXT Takeover Vengeance Day was the best way to spend Valentine’s in my opinion. As always, NXT Takeover was an amazing pay-per-view with consistently awesome matches. Hats off to the NXT superstars.
I recently joined Clubhouse and have been in several of the rooms on there. I have loved my experience on the app so far. I’ve gotten the opportunity to speak to recruiters about job opportunities, learned about web and mobile development from other Full Sail alumni, and had the opportunity to practice my French with other people learning French. Overall, it has been a great experience. If you want an invite to Clubhouse, let me know. I have a few invites to give.
Keeping with the theme of Valentine’s Day, some of my favorite experiences this past week were:
- Virtual Game Night with new and not so new Full Sail friends (game night is always a super fun time where I get to relax with some of the awesome people who study or work at Full Sail)
- Playing video games with my sister (we chat about whatever pops up and watch tv and just enjoy each other’s company in general)
- Chinese New Year with my whole family including my Popo and Samguma where my sister helped make gin doi and we all enjoyed breakfast together
- Valentine’s Day dinner where my dad made delicious chicken tikka masala and we all ate together and talked about our day
