Documentation and Light Reading Don’t Go Together

Hello. This past week has been pretty uneventful. I learned a bunch more about Android development and read enough documentation it was painful, but figuring out how to make the code work for my projects was as fun as it was dreadful. I miss dancing and doing stuff with people other than my family, but I enjoyed annoying my sister and playing with my puppy this past week as well.

Some of the things I’ve learned are:

• Affirmations worked for Scott Adams
• Android permissions must be requested at runtime
• Broadcast receivers listen for system messages
• Tea is amazing
