Hello. I hope you have had a great week. This past week has been quite busy and filled with learning and growth. I rediscovered the awesomeness that is the Full Sail community and events and attended several wonderful Full Sail events including one on personal branding given by Phil Pallen, and a virtual game night involving an entertainingly competitive game Skribbl.io. I also started reading the book The Dichotomy of Leadership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. The book so far is great! The stories told really drive home the points the authors make about the importance of balancing the dichotomies of leadership and the level of awareness good leadership requires.

Some of the things I’ve learned this week are:

  • Each (social media) post you make should have a specific member of your target audience in mind
  • Guessing what word a virtual scribble represents is hard, but not as hard as one might think
  • The balance between micromanagement and lassez-faire management is tricky to achieve and maintain but extremely important

I’m looking forward to attending several other Full Sail hosted workshops this coming week including one on massage basics and another on meal prep. I love being part of the Full Sail community and I hope that you are part of an equally amazing community.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you have a great week.

Sincerely,

Mulan Lau
