Hello. I hope you’ve had a great week. This past week I finished the amazing book, The Dichotomy of Leadership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin, adjusted my sleep schedule to wake up earlier, started the planning process for the app I’m developing this month for my Project and Portfolio class called Yearbook, attended an illuminating Budgeting and Financial Success Strategies event given by Bill Thomspon, and played with puppies.

Some of the things I’ve learned this past week are:

  • Building trust with superiors and those who report to you is extremely important in leadership and often done by paying attention to and helping with the little things
  • Keeping track of all your spending down to the penny is a great way to start managing your finances and eliminate excess spending
  • Meditating with intention is a great way to meditate and produce visible results (i.e. begin meditating with the intention of coming up with ideas for a story or app)

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you have a great week!

Sincerely,

Mulan Lau

P.S. If you’re a WWE fan, who are you rooting for this Sunday at Extreme Rules the Horror Show?
