Hello. I hope you’ve had a great week. I’m delighted to announce that as of yesterday, Sunday, evening, I have graduated from college! I finished my Bachelor’s in Mobile Development and have already begun to refocus on getting a remote mobile developer position. I’m really excited to begin my post-college journey. There are so many things I want to do and experience, but first, a mobile dev job. I’m also saving up to move to Florida so I can finally see my campus and hopefully work there as a lab assistant helping other aspiring mobile devs. Fortunately, I would be able to work a full-time mobile dev position at the same time so everything should work out. (Fingers crossed.)
Also, Hell in a Cell was this past Sunday and it was great! Not NXT Takeover 31 great, but still pretty great. I won’t spoil the results, but go watch it! Watch Finn Balor vs. Kyle O’Reilly’s match at NXT Takeover 31 if you haven’t seen it yet too.
Lastly, Halloween is this week! Have you decorated? Planned out your costume? Are you going trick or treating? I’d love to hear about your Halloween plans. It is the best holiday of the year after all!
Some of the things I’ve learned this past week:
- Monthly living costs are expensive!! (I created an estimate of my monthly living costs once I move and there are so many expenses I hadn’t even thought of until I made the list!)
- Graduating college has compelled me to feel more driven towards success (probably because I’m no longer thinking about succeeding in school)
- Always send a customized cover letter when applying for a job and do your research on the company
- Florida has no income tax! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this…
