Hi! I hope you’ve had a wonderful April so far!
April has been a pretty busy month for me. I started my job at LinkedIn at the beginning of the month and it’s been a bit of a learning curve as I familiarize myself with how LinkedIn works and their tech stack. I’m really enjoying it so far. Everyone I’ve met has been super nice and welcoming and I’m learning a ton.
I’ve begun giving more serious thought to what I want to wear when I go to Megacon next month. I’m super excited for that as well. Other than that, I’m still dancing a bunch and showering my puppy with love and treats. I also recently got myself some wax and seals so I’ve been writing a lot of letters and sealing them with various colored wax and pretty seals.
One piece of advice which I have been given that I have found very helpful in my workflow is not to hesitate when it comes to asking questions. Reaching out to coworkers, managers, and other team members can sometimes seem daunting, but getting clarification early can save lots of time and headaches down the line. It’s also a great opportunity to learn from people with more experience with a project or tech stack.
April has definitely felt like the beginning of spring with the start of my new job at LinkedIn, my renewed enjoyment of cooking, and the ever so slightly warmer weather. How’s your April going so far?
