Hello. I hope you’ve had a great week even with all the virus stuff going on. Staying home the days are starting to blur together and telling which day of the week it is is far more difficult with no events to go to. I’ve been spending my time learning. I spend a lot of time learning Spanish in particular. I’m learning Spanish in the most efficient way possible, watching tons of Garfield in Spanish on Netflix with my sister. Apart from that, I’ve started to more actively search for a remote job, finished my March class, Advanced Interface Design, read a bit, fangirled over hard enduro races and racers, and indulged in one of my favorite past times, sleeping.

Some things I’ve learned this week are:

  • Android has two types of intents: explicit and implicit
  • You can open another app on the same device by using an implicit intent
  • Each skill you’re good at can exponentially increase your chances of success (according to Scott Adams who is successful)
  • Yo no puedo Garfield means I can not Garfield

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you have a great week. Stay healthy!

Sincerely,

Mulan Lau
