Hello. I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. I apologize for not writing last Sunday. I moved to Florida the Friday before last and on Sunday I was still recovering from jetlag and enjoying Florida with my family while they helped me settle in so I completely forgot to write. These past two weeks have been pretty eventful, getting familiar with the nearby area and starting work at Full Sail. I’ve made sure to facetime my sister every day at least once so far though, and I’m not feeling too homesick. Florida is pretty neat and oddly similar to Hawaii except for all the things that can eat/kill you in Florida. All in all, I’m settling in pretty well and really enjoying living here so far.
Some of the things I didn’t realize I’d miss are:
- Driving (my car is being shipped and hasn’t arrived yet)
- Road trips with my sister (I did realize I’d miss this one though)
- My sister (Oddly enough)
- Having a kitchen
- Not having to do my own laundry
- Walking around outside without fear of running into something that could eat/kill me
Despite all the dangerous creatures, Florida is quite pretty, and the temperatures aren’t too different from Hawaii. What’s your favorite place or thing to do in Florida?
